Diagnostic is a flat fee — $25 for a desktop/tower, $50 for a laptop or all-in-one (laptops take more disassembly to test). After the diagnostic you get a clear quote for the actual repair (parts + labor) and you decide whether to move forward. No major work begins without your approval. Routine fixes are often quoted on the spot.
Yes — Windows laptops. Charging issues, won't-boot diagnostics, keyboards, overheating, drives, RAM upgrades, screen replacements (when parts are available). We don't service MacBooks.
Yes. Browser hijacks, fake "Microsoft" pop-ups, scam software, and broader infections. We also do a security check while we're in there to make sure nothing else is hiding.
We can help with most data situations — accidental deletion, corrupted file systems, drives that still spin up. Severe physical drive failure (drives that click or won't power on at all) sometimes needs a clean-room recovery lab; we'll tell you honestly when that's the case rather than charging you for a long shot.
